Golf

About

The Golf Club is looking to involve all levels of golfers, from social golfers to seasoned players. We want to ensure that the game is promoted in the university. We want to become more competitive and also to involve students, staff and alumni, in order to increase the profile of the club.

Achievements

Last year we made it out of our group, reaching the All-Ireland Finals, only to be narrowly beaten by UCD. We are looking to further our progress in the league tournament this year.

Intervarsities

We have started the year well, with one of our scholar team members, Enda Craddock, finishing fifth in the 2011 intervarsity championships.
