rest of the crews and take victory, it is the 4th year in a row that the title returns to Galway.
The Women’s Intermediate Eight and Novice Quad both finished second in their finals
while the Men’s Club Eight finished 5th in their final on Friday afternoon.

On Saturday, the only NUI Galway interest came in the morning with the Men’s Senior
Coxless Pair, who eventually finishing second to the UCC pair racing on their home course.

The final day of the Rowing Championships saw another win for the women’s crew in the
Intermediate Coxed Four. Both of the NUIG crews racing in the Men’s Club Coxed Four
made it through their heats in the morning, to race each other in the semi-final. Only the
A crew qualified from the semis to race in the final where they eventually finished in third
place. THe WOmen's Club 8+ also finished 3rd in their final on Sunday afternoon - and in
the final race of the regatta, NUI Galway and alumni partners Gráinne Mhaol, battled with
the crews from Trinity and UCD the whole way down the course in a hotly
contested race,
eventually finishing in third place.
